Hilary Steinberg, owner of Jaya Yoga, will offer a special yoga class to benefit the Northeast Regional Cancer Institute 9th annual C.A.S.U.A.L. (Colon cancer Awareness Saves Unlimited Adult Lives) Day. The class will take place at Glen Oak Country Club. Instead of a fee to participate, attendees are asked to make a donation to C.A.S.U.A.L. Day.
C.A.S.U.A.L. Day is a dress down day in memory of Helen Phillips to raise awareness about colorectal cancer. Businesses, individuals, and other organizations will dress down on Thursday, March 29th in special C.A.S.U.A.L. Day t-shirts and pins. All proceeds from the event support the ongoing efforts by the Northeast Regional Cancer Institute to raise awareness about colorectal cancer risk factors and the importance of screening.
