Prostate Cancer Awareness Alliance of Northeastern Pennsylvania  Awards $7,500 Grant to The Northeast Regional Cancer Institute

The Prostate Cancer Awareness Alliance (PCAA) of NEPA recently awarded the Northeast Regional Cancer Institute with a $7,500 grant. This generous investment and partnership with PCAA will provide the Cancer Institute with the resources to host a range of prostate cancer education and awareness activities throughout the 2016 calendar year.

The PCT foundation was established with the purpose of increasing Prostate Cancer awareness and emphasizing the importance of early detection through a multi-pronged educational effort. Their past fundraisers include a yearly golf tournament, night of baseball, 5K races and an evening of wine tasting.
