Community member, Geoff Musti and his family and friends are finalizing plans for an Oktoberfest fundraiser on Saturday, September 26, 2015, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Morgan’z Pub and Eatery located at 315 Green Ridge St, Scranton.

The event costs $10 per person, which includes a variety of fall beers. The fundraiser will also have raffle baskets. Tickets will be available at the door the day of the event.

This event has been coordinated to honor Geoff’s mother, Patricia Musti. She taught nearly 40 years within the Scranton School District at John Marshall Elementary School in West Scranton. As a 3rd grade teacher, she dedicated her life to her students to assure not only their intellectual development but also their growth as upstanding members of their community. Patricia’s selfless commitment to her profession shaped countless young people and she truly loved her work and the impact she had on each child’s life. Patricia passed away on August 21, 2013, after a lengthy battle with breast cancer.

For tickets and information about the upcoming fundraiser, please contact Geoff Musti at (570) 575-1472 or mustig3@gmail.com. Proceeds will benefit the Northeast Regional Cancer Institute.
