Montage Mountain Resorts in Scranton recently contributed a portion of its proceeds from The Black Diamond Running Series to the Northeast Regional Cancer Institute. The money raised from the race series will benefit the Cancer Institute’s upcoming Spirit of Hope Celebration.
The annual Spirit of Hope Celebration is hosted by a group of individuals known as the Board of Ambassadors. This group is made up of leaders from the community who come together to raise funds and awareness to fight cancer in northeast Pennsylvania through their support and promotion of a gala event.
The Spirit of Hope Celebration will be held on November 7th from 7PM to 9:30PM at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs near Wilkes-Barre. Proceeds benefit the Northeast Regional Cancer Institute’s Patient Navigation Program. The program helps cover the cost of recommended breast, cervical and colon cancer screenings for low income, uninsured or underinsured individuals in NEPA.
Tickets are $100 per person and include an evening of live music, cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, food stations, a dessert bar and more. To purchase tickets for the event, CLICK HERE, or call 1-800-424-6724.
The Northeast Regional Cancer Institute invests 100% of its resources in this region.
