Committee Prepares for 4th Annual “Judi H Rock On”

Judi H CommitteeFriends and family of a woman from Dunmore who lost her battle with cancer are planning their fourth annual fundraiser to support the Northeast Regional Cancer Institute in her memory.  Judi Hartridge was a vibrant and giving nurse, who passed away after a year-long battle with cancer.  To honor her generous and loving nature, Judi’s friends and family began the “Judi H Rock On” annual dance party.

This year’s event will take place on May 4th from 5pm to 10 pm at the Scranton Cultural Center and will feature a night of food, fun, and dancing, with music provided by Paul LaBelle and The Exact Change, Old Friends, The Gene Dempsey Orchestra, and singer/songwriter, Janice Gambo Chesna.

Tickets to the event are $20 and include entry into a raffle to win the “Pink Lady 4” Fender American Standard Stratocaster FSR- Limited Edition guitar, an Apple iPad, or a one-year family membership to the Greater Scranton YMCA.  Tickets can be purchased prior to the event by calling the Cancer Institute at 1-800-424-6724 or visiting www.judihrockon.com.  Tickets can also be purchased at the door the day of the event.
