Cancer Survivor Artwork Hosted by Maternal & Family Health Services
Maternal & Family Health Services, in conjunction with Humford Equities/Realty, is currently hosting an art display entitled, “Tiles: From Tears to Triumph,” in the lobby of 15 Public Square in Wilkes-Barre. The display was created by the Northeast Regional Cancer Institute and features replications of ceramic tiles that were painted by Luzerne County cancer survivors and caregivers through an art therapy project. The display will remain in the location until mid-September.
Pictured with the display are (from left to right): Bette Saxton, Executive Director, Maternal & Family Health Services and Bob Durkin, President, Northeast Regional Cancer Institute.
