Cancer Institute Welcomes Shoemaker, Quinn, and Uroskie to Board of Directors

Peter J. Danchak, Chair of the Board of Directors of the Northeast Regional Cancer Institute, announces the recent appointment of Susan Shoemaker, J.D., Reverend Kevin P. Quinn, S.J., J.D., Ph.D., and Theodore W. Uroskie, M.D. to the Board of Directors.

Ms. Shoemaker, of Wyoming, is Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer of Riggs Asset Management Company. She is a graduate of Villanova University and New York Law School.

Father Quinn, of Scranton, is the President of The University of Scranton. He is a graduate of the University of California Berkeley School of Law, Jesuit School of Theology at Berkeley (now the Jesuit School of Theology of Santa Clara University), and Fordham University. He entered the Society of Jesus in 1973 and was ordained as a Roman Catholic priest in 1985.

Dr. Uroskie, of Clarks Green, is a retired Obstetrician/Gynecologist. He has volunteered for the local Disaster Action of the Red Cross, Disaster Health Service of the Red Cross, and the National Disaster Services Human Resources System of the Red Cross. He is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and Hahnemann Medical College (Now Drexel University College of Medicine).

The Cancer Institute welcomes Ms. Shoemaker, Father Quinn, and Dr. Uroskie to the Board of Directors.
