Cancer Institute Announces New Hires

The Northeast Regional Cancer Institute recently announced the additions of Ann Crisanti, Michelle Jones, Stacey Kiss, and Jane Mizerak to the organization’s staff.

Crisanti, of Dickson City, has filled the position of Fiscal Director. Crisanti, of Dickson City, has filled the position of Fiscal Director.

She received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Scranton. Prior to joining the Cancer Institute, Crisanti had accumulated more than 20 years of accounting experience and most recently was employed as a Controller/Fiscal Administrator at the Scranton Cultural Center.

Kiss, of Nanticoke has joined the Cancer Institute as a Cancer Registrar. Kiss, of Nanticoke, has joined the Cancer Institute as a Cancer Registrar. She is responsible for recording cancer diagnosis, treatment, and outcomes at the Regional Hospital of Scranton.

Kiss received a bachelor’s degree in mass communications and a master’s degree in health care administration from King’s College. She has been employed in the health care field for over four years.

Jones, of Scott Township, has joined the Cancer Institute as Registry Staff Assistant.Jones, of Scott Township, has joined the Cancer Institute as Registry Staff Assistant. She is responsible for maintaining the Cancer Registry, assisting the Vice President of Registry Services, as well as general administrative duties.

Jones received a medical office assistant associate’s degree from Cazenovia College and has been employed in the field for more than 20 years.

Mizerak, of Hanover Township, has filled the role of Registry Staff Assistant. Mizerak, of Hanover Township, has filled the role of Registry Staff Assistant. She is responsible for assisting the Cancer Registrar at Wyoming Valley Healthcare System.

Mizerak obtained a certificate as a medical office assistant from Luzerne County Community College and has more than 30 years of experience in the field.
