Blue Ribbon Foundation Supports Patient Navigation Program
The Blue Ribbon Foundation of Blue Cross of Northeastern Pennsylvania has awarded a $5,000 grant to the Northeast Regional Cancer Institute to support its Colorectal Cancer Screening Project. The project is part of the Cancer Institute’s Patient Navigation Program.
The Patient Navigation Program helps individuals who are uninsured or underinsured access direct cancer-related health care services from screening through diagnosis to treatment and aftercare.
