Riverside Rehabilitation in Plains will host a program for cancer survivors on Tuesday, December 4, 2012, at 6:30pm.
The free program, entitled “After Cancer Treatment: What to Do When Treatment is Completed,” will be presented by a community educator from the Northeast Regional Cancer Institute. It is open to all cancer survivors and their families/caregivers. The program will address the long term/late effects of treatment, the importance of a post-treatment follow up plan, and obtaining medical records and cancer treatment summaries.
Participants will receive an information packet and have the opportunity to participate in a Q&A session. To register for the program or for more information, contact Riverside Rehabilitation at 824-3444.
