Join Us for the 2nd Annual Spirit of Hope Celebration!

The Board of Ambassadors will host its second annual Spirit of Hope Celebration Cocktail Party on November 1, 2013, to support the Northeast Regional Cancer Institute. The event will be held from 7:00PM to 9:30PM at the Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs Seasons Ballroom.

The highlight of this year’s celebration will be a Tribute to Courage. Honorees include Crescenzo Calise, MD and Mrs. Mollie Conway. Crescenzo Calise, MD is a doctor in Luzerne County practicing medicine of urology. He was first diagnosed with cancer many years ago and has been undergoing treatment intermittently. Mollie Conway, wife of Attorney Mark Conway, and mother of seven resides in Dunmore and has been diagnosed with colon cancer.

Tickets to the Spirit of Hope Celebration are $100 per person. The event will feature cocktails and hors d’oevres along with live entertainment. Basket raffles and a live and silent auction will also take place.

The Spirit of Hope Celebration Board of Ambassadors is made up of a group of community volunteers. The money raised at the event will go to the Northeast Regional Cancer Institute’s Patient Navigation program. The program helps low income and un/underinsured individuals obtain their recommended breast, colon, and cervical cancer screenings.
