Scranton Prep and Abington Heights Girls Basketball Teams Host 5th Annual Pink Night
The Scranton Preparatory and Abington Heights girls’ basketball teams recently worked together to raise $9,000 for the Northeast Regional Cancer Institute.
The two rival teams met on the court February 4, 2013, for their fifth annual Pink Night game. Both Abington Heights and Scranton Prep players wore special pink jerseys and many fans in the packed gym wore special t-shirts. Proceeds from game sponsors and t-shirt sales benefit the Northeast Regional Cancer Institute to support local breast cancer education programming & services.
