The Northeast Regional Cancer Institute recently recognized One Point, Inc. for their contributions to the Cancer Institute’s annual colon cancer awareness campaign, C.A.S.U.A.L. (Colon cancer Awareness Saves Unlimited Adult Lives) Day.
C.A.S.U.A.L. Day is an awareness campaign about the importance of early detection and screening for colon cancer. In addition to the awareness, participants dress “casual” while wearing a specially designed pin and/or t-shirt on CASUAL Day. CASUAL Day falls on the last Thursday in March.

Through the generosity of One Point’s distribution system and staff, more than 4,000 t-shirts and pins were ordered, packed, and delivered to participating businesses and organizations across northeast Pennsylvania for C.A.S.U.A.L. Day.  One Point has been a partner with the Cancer Institute since 2004.

Proceeds from C.A.S.U.A.L. Day benefit the Cancer Institute’s efforts to raise colorectal cancer awareness and support colorectal cancer screenings for low income, uninsured, and underinsured individuals in northeast Pennsylvania.
