It’s All in the Game! Events Promises Fun, Benefits Cancer Institute
Looking for a fun outing with friends, co-workers, and family?
It’s all in the Game!, an evening of fun and games to benefit the Northeast Regional Cancer Institute, is just the event! It’s all in the Game! is set for Thursday, October 22, 2009, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs in Wilkes-Barre.
The event will feature a festive atmosphere and spirited competition, with teams of 4 playing board games – Pictionary, Family Feud, and Celebrity. Food stations, cocktails, music, and raffles will also be featured throughout the night. An awards ceremony will follow the games.
Attendees can put together their own team of four players, join a team that night, or enjoy the evening as a spectator. Proceeds from It’s all in the Game! will benefit the Northeast Regional Cancer Institute, a local nonprofit, community-based agency working to ease the burden of cancer in Northeast Pennsylvania. Focusing on research, education, support and survivorship programs, the Cancer Institute directs all programming and invests all of its resources in Northeast Pennsylvania.
